Educational programs
The KTIS programmes are organised in three stages — primary school, middle school, and high school — each with clear objectives, the Cambridge International curriculum, and instruction in Romanian and English, adapted to the students' age.
Program philosophy
The Cambridge International curriculum is built on clear stages, from primary school to university preparation. Each level develops the knowledge and competencies the student needs for the next step.
How the Cambridge pathway works

Ages 5–11 · Years 1–6
The stage where the foundations of reading, writing, mathematics, sciences, and logical thinking are built. At the end, students can sit the Primary Checkpoint.

Ages 11–14 · Years 7–9
The deepening stage, where students develop autonomy, critical thinking, and the ability to make connections across subjects. At the end, they can sit the Lower Secondary Checkpoint.

Ages 14–16 · Years 10–11
The preparation stage for the internationally recognised Cambridge IGCSE examinations.

Ages 16–19 · Years 12–13
The final stage of preparation for university, through AS & A Levels, depending on the chosen academic direction.
At KTIS, this pathway is complemented by instruction in Romanian and English, individual mentoring, interdisciplinary projects, and support for each student's academic, social, and emotional development.
Primary
Ages 6 – 10
Children build the foundations of reading, writing, mathematics, and logical thinking, through a bilingual, interactive curriculum adapted to each student's pace.

Middle
Ages 10 – 14
Students deepen their knowledge and develop critical thinking and autonomy, through the Cambridge curriculum, interdisciplinary projects, and individual mentoring.

High
Ages 14 – 18 · Cambridge IGCSE / A-Levels
Students prepare for the Cambridge examinations, for university admission, and for choosing the academic direction that suits them.
